The DAAA 5000 Metres Track Championships will be held on Wednesday 13 May 2025 at St Peter the Apostle High School, Kirkoswald Drive, Clydebank G81 2DB.
Only members of a DAAA club will be eligible to take part. Cost per runner will be £3.00 which will be invoiced to the clubs following the event.
Limited to 120 participants, then the wait list will be activated.
Closing Date for entries 21:00 12th May
Entrants will be able to pre-register for the event. To assist with seeding entrants will be asked for their best 5000 metres times for 2025/26. Club vests must be worn for the competition.
Runners will be allowed to run in spikes or road running shoes.

Will be on the trackside, and open from 18:30.
Event Format
The event comprises four races, each increasing in pace.
Race 1 begins promptly at 19:00, Race 2 at 19:30, Race 3 at 19:55, Race 4 at 20:20.
